Miscellany is a new diffusion service created by Run For The Hills as a more accessible interior-design offering. Buck Rabbit developed the website in Webflow, working closely with the studio’s design team to bring their concept to life.

Context:

The team at Run For The Hills conceived Miscellany as a lower-cost, design-led service aimed at smaller, more contained interior projects. The full creative direction — including the identity, graphic language, and illustrations — was produced in-house by their team. My role was to translate these designs into a responsive, maintainable Webflow site.

Constraints:

  • A custom illustration style and graphic language needed to be implemented with fidelity
  • Animations and light interactions were required to bring the concept to life
  • Content was information-heavy and needed to remain easy to navigate
  • Timelines were shaped around internal creative production and launch requirements

Deliverables:

  • A full Webflow build based on supplied designs
  • Component-driven structure for easier editing and content expansion
  • Implementation of the custom illustration system across the site
  • Light interactions, animations and Lottie files to support the brand’s expressive, whimsical tone
  • A responsive, performance-focused site consistent with the creative direction
  • Backend setup allowing the Miscellany team to maintain and update content themselves
